Merge GPX files online

Join the stages of a trip, several days of a tour or the tracks of different devices into a single GPX file, in a few seconds and from the browser.

How to do it

  1. 1 Open GPXTools and drag your GPX files onto the map (or use File › Open).
  2. 2 Select the files to join in the file list and open the Merge items together tool.
  3. 3 Choose to connect them into one track or keep them as separate tracks, and export the result.

What you get

  • One continuous track, or several tracks in the same file
  • Statistics and elevation profile of the joined route at once
  • Waypoints of every file are kept
  • Works with files from Garmin, Wikiloc, Komoot, Strava…

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge GPX files in a specific order?

Yes. The files are joined in the order of the file list; drag them in the list to change it before merging.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Editing happens in your browser and the files stay on your device. They only go to the cloud if you add them to a shared project.

Is it free? Do I need to install anything?

Yes, GPXTools is free and has no ads. It works in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone, without installing anything, and it can also be installed as an app.
